“This is the best excursion you'll take! Three generations in my family loved this tour, from grandmom down to my teens. Christine and Thanos picked us up at our Chania hotel in an air-conditioned van filled with drinks and snacks. We departed for Knossos Palace and stopped at beautiful vistas like the White Mountains for photos. During the ride, Christine shared details about the island's history, food, customs, music, and people. In between, we saw quick videos to bring the details to life. At Knossos, we had an expert, Thalia, take us around and she was passionate about the archeological site. Knossos existed way before the Acropolis was even imagined!…”

“Due to inclement weather, our cruise ship did not stop in Crete, and we found out the morning of the tour. We immediately contacted the operator Leonidas and offered to proceed with a partial refund that would cover all of his expenses and preparation. He refused, offering only a discount on an indeterminate future tour that we both know is unlikely to ever come up. Whether or not he had a legal right to refuse refund, I would want to book with an operator who is genial, empathetic, and collaborative, and Leonidas showed himself to be none of those things when he realized he could earn easy money without providing…”

“This is a pre-recorded tour that we could not hear because you don’t stop for many of the sights, and you’re so busy trying not to hit things and people that you cannot focus on the recording most of the time, and you can barely hear it over all the street noise. Making things worse, our tour guide, while polite, was always on her phone and made clear she did not want to interact when we stopped. We learned nothing about the town and I am debating requesting a refund because it was a waste of time.”

“de Engelstalige gids was goed onderlegd!wat ik persoonlijk jammer vond is dat ze maar door ratelde...De wetenswaardigheden kon je niet eens verwerken...iets rustiger is ook goed en iets minder ook! ik persoonlijk voelde het als een" haastige" dag, maar toch genoten. voor iemand die minder goed ter been is , is het bezoek aan het paleis van Knossos erg zwaar.”
