“This was a very good tour of the palace. As a fan of history, I learned even more things about Knossos, the Minoans, and Crete from Vangelis. The tour is perfectly suitable for a small child. We were with our three-year-old daughter. The site is quite small, and there are a few areas with shade and air conditioning. Just be aware that there are many stairs, so it's best not to bring a stroller.”

“DO NOT GO! SAVE TIME AND MONEY!!! We have expected so much more from a museum of the Minoan World. The whole experience was 30 minutes and not 45 as presented in the presentation on the website when I have booked the tickets. There were 4 movies: one with pictures from Crete, one with a person (probably the founder of the museum) giving a brief presentation, one about the genesis of the Minoan culture and a last with a canion ride in a roller coaster. The historic background was weak while the last movie with the canion (probably 10 minutes long) had nothing to do with the theme of the…”
